Joseph H. Keisker, 82, of Bettendorf, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at his home.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on Saturday, January 12, 2019. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.
Joe was born June 20, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Joseph & Henrietta (Heidenreich) Keisker. He was united in marriage to Margaret Rose Presley on May 27, 1967 in St. Louis.
Joe had been employed as a Loan Officer with several area banks. In earlier years, he was a credit manager for various farm equipment companies.
A great husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, Joe will be remembered for his kindness and sense of humor. He enjoyed attending church with his family and cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals. His favorite activities were bicycling, golf, and painting.
Family members include his daughter, Kris Castelluccio (Brian Bloodsworth) of Bettendorf; his son, Joe Keisker of Seattle, Washington; his granddaughter, Victoria; and his sister, Janice Saputo of St. Charles, Missouri.
Joe’s wife Rose preceded him in death on February 17, 2015. Also preceding him in death were his parents; and his sister, Mary Katherine Gorczyca.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to Genesis Hospice, the staff at Country Manor (Adult Day Care Service) and to Joe’s in-home caregivers: Mike, Linda, Rick, Katie, Nancy, Kara, and Jaime. Joe was happy and at home because of your love and support.
In accordance with Joe’s wishes, he has donated his body to the University of Iowa College of Medicine. Memorials may be made to LivWell Cares, 2414 18th St., Ste.101, Bettendorf, IA, 52722.
