Joshua Scalf, 26, of East Moline, Illinois, died Wednesday, November 2, 2005 at Trinity at Terrace Park, Bettendorf. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, November 6, 2005 at Grace Community Church, Noblesville, Indiana. Memorials may be made towards a fund to further his siblings’ education. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
Joshua was born on April 9, 1979 in Davenport, the son of Samuel Scalf and Kim (Reeder) Scalf.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother and stepfather, Kim and Gary Morris, of Noblesville; his sisters, Jennifer Scalf, Jamie Hemingway and her husband Derik, Kim Croucher and her husband Brandon, Jacque Scalf, Julia Scalf, Sarah Morris, and Jenna Morris; his brothers; Joe Morris, and Collin Morris; his grandfather, Samuel Scalf; his grandmother, Joyce Reeder; his great-grandparents, Chester and Lena Reeder; his great-grandmothers, Madelyn Dunlap and Vera Scalf; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and the love of his life, Diana Bannister.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sam; his grandmother, Doris Scalf; and his grandfather, Kendall Reeder.
