Joshua White

Funeral services for Joshua Edward White, 25, of Guttenberg, IA, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023, at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf.  Family will greet friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport.

Joshua passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City with family by his side.

Joshua was born on February 3, 1998, in Iowa City, IA, the son of Merle Edward White and Dessel Pullman.

Joshua worked as a cashier and butcher at Benders grocery store, Guttenberg, IA.  His interests included art, playing baseball, listening to music, poetry, singing, spending time with his family and puppy, Zipper.

Survivors include his father, Merle Edward White and bonus mother, Brandi Crane of Davenport; mother, Dessel Pullman of Davenport; fiancé, Shauna Foss of Guttenberg, IA; sisters, Heather (Ricky Foster) White, Tiffany McFadden, Jayme (Tewa) Jefferson, Becca Crane, Rose Crane; brothers, Les Hines Jr., all of Davenport, Ryan (Chauna) Foss of Cedar Rapids; grandmothers, Deborah White of Davenport, Ruth Horstman of Guttenberg, IA; mother-in-law, Marsha Foss of Guttenberg, IA; nieces and nephews, Malekai, Thealynn, Atreus, and many more, plus many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Appleby Sr., and his uncle, Les Pullman III.
