Joshua A. Tunison

Joshua Allen Thrasher Tunison, 31, a resident of Moline, Illinois died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 in Davenport, Iowa.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 21, 2009 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Bettendorf. Interment will be private. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
He was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on March 8, 1978. On August 5, 2006, he was united in marriage to Ivette Hernandez in Rock Island, Illinois.
Joshua was employed as a material handler at Berry Plastic in Bettendorf since 2005.
Among the things he enjoyed were mixed martial arts, drawing & art of all kinds. He was a fun-loving person who will be sadly missed by those who knew & loved him.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Ivette; his children, Austin, Joshua, Ruby and another expected soon; his parents, Michael & Theresa Thrasher of Burlington, Iowa; his sisters, Amy Murray and Michelle Thrasher, both of Burlington; his brother, Richard Pinkston of Norfolk, Nebraska; his grandparents, Pat Connelly of Davenport, Peggy flood of Stanton, Nebraska and Collin Flood of Winter, South Dakota; his mother-in-law, Mercedes Gomez of Rock Island; his sisters-in-law, Brisa Hernandez and Mirna Hernandez, both of Rock Island; his brother-in-law, Omar Gomez of Rock Island; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends.
