Joshua L. Davis

Joshua Lee Davis, 26, a resident of Park View, Iowa died on Monday, March 12, 2007 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport, Iowa.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 16, 2007 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
He was born February 13, 1981 in Davenport, the son of Reggie L. Davis and Carolyn (Stottler) Anthony. On July 26, 2005, he was united in marriage to Kara L. Williams in Davenport.
Josh was employed by S & V Fence and Deck Company of Eldridge, Iowa.
He was a avid hunter, enjoyed fishing & camping and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.
His daughter was the light of his life and he treasured each moment he spent with her.
Those left to honor his memory include his beloved wife, Kara; his daughter, Madison; his father & step-mother, Reggie & Diane Smith-Davis of Davenport; his mother, Carolyn Anthony in Pennsylvania; his sisters, Michelle White of Park View, Kathleen Smith and Mary Davis, both of Davenport; his brothers, Michael White of Silvis, Illinois and Michael Smith of Davenport; his grandmother, Joan Davis of Davenport; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends, including his best friend, Jesse Davis.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edwin Davis and Bud & Irene Parks.
