Judi Jay Rostenbach

Judi Jay Rostenbach, 47, Durant, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Genesis Medical Center, West Campus, Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 7, 2009 at Grace Lutheran Church, Davenport, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa and again for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Friday. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Pleasant Valley, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the family.
Judi was born January 10, 1962, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Elda (Jahn) Brockhage. She graduated from Bellevue High School, Bellevue, Iowa and later received her bachelor’s degree in business from St. Ambrose University, Davenport, Iowa. On July 1, 1994 she was united in marriage to Jason Rostenbach at Grace Lutheran Church in Davenport.
She enjoyed NASCAR, cooking, LHOP, boating, reading, shopping, music, sports, camping, going to Iowa Hawkeye games, flowers and being pampered with pedicures and foot massages. She loved her grandbabies and the dogs. She always wanted to make sure everyone was having fun. She loved life and everyone she knew. She always put others before herself.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Jason, her daughters, Sara Sagers of Bondurant, Iowa, Kelsey Sagers of Durant, Iowa Amber Rostenbach of Dallas, Texas and Katie Rostenbach of Dallas, Texas; her sons, Alex Sagers of Davenport, and Nicklas who lives at home. Also, her grandchildren, Camryn Sagers, Tayvia Sagers, Cayden “Shay Shay” Sagers and Ari Mason; her sisters Janet (Larry ) Conrad of Peosta, Iowa, Jo (Dale) Ernst of Bellevue, Iowa, Bobbi (Steve) Regan of Durant, and Cindi (Mike) VenHorst of Pleasant Valley, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Bob Rostenbach.
