Judith Kowalske

Judith Noel Kowalske, 78, a resident of Bettendorf, formerly of Milwaukee, WI died Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Apostles Catholic Church in New Berlin, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Memorials may be made to Holy Apostles Catholic Church. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
Judith was born on December 25, 1935 in Milwaukee, the daughter of George and Luvine (Malak) Gunkel.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Karyn M. (Jeffrey) Yets of Bettendorf; sons, Michael J. (Cynthia Orlando) Kowalske and Timothy T. (Linda) Kowalske of Milwaukee, WI; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; her brothers, George Gunkel of Tampa, FL and Keith Gunkel of Brookfield, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol Betzig and her ex-husband, John Kowalske.
