Ms. Julia Wilmore, 65, of Bettendorf, Iowa, was called home to glory on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.
Funeral services celebrating her life and home going will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Born May 25, 1952 in Bridgeton, New Jersey, Julia was the daughter of Donnie, Sr. and Melvie Hall. She married David C. Wilmore, who she loved dearly.
Ms. Julia recently retired, working various jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed reading the Bible, attending church, and spending time with her family.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, David C. (Lawanda) Wilmore, Jr. of Lakeland, Florida and Alethia (Alexander L.) Reynolds of Midlothian, Virginia; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five sisters and five brothers.
Ms. Julia was preceded in death by her parents; son, Eric S. Wilmore; and her former husband, David C. Wilmore.
