Julie Grimm

Julie L. Grimm, 55, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery in Davenport.

Julie was born February 21, 1963 in Davenport, the daughter of Leon & June (Hill) Gilbraith (Schumaker.)  She was united in marriage to Ross Grimm on April 30, 1983 in Davenport.

Julie had driven a school bus for the Davenport School District for 25 years.  She was fond of genealogical research.  She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Ross; her daughter, Tiffany (Justin) Leatherman of Davenport; her son, Cody Grimm of Davenport; her grandchildren, Sophia, Ryland and Ava; her father, Leon (Kathy) Gilbraith of Alamogordo, New Mexico; her brothers, Rick Gilbraith and Leon “Allen” Gilbraith; her step-sisters, Melinda and Melanie; and her step-brothers, Doug and Darren.

Julie was preceded in death by her mother.
