Justin Allen Collins

Justin Allen Collins, 9 year-old son of James H. & Elizabeth L. (Martzahn) Collins died on Saturday, July 7, 2007 in a drowning accident in the Mississippi River near LeClaire, Iowa.
His funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 13, 2007 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born in Silvis, Illinois on February 2, 1998 and had recently completed the 3rd grade at Monroe Elementary School in Davenport.
Justin was “all boy” and enjoyed being outside, riding his bike, fishing, hunting and eating at Chucky Cheese. Some of his favorite times were those spent with his beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Those left to honor his memory include his parents, James & Elizabeth Collins; his sisters, Jessica Collins of Davenport and Anna Collins of Harrison, Arkansas; his grandparents, Ona Nye of Davenport, John Ramirez of Davenport and James Collins Jr. of Panorama Park, Iowa; his great-grandmother, Betty Collins of Bettendorf and many wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Donna Ramirez and Sharon Weimer.
