Kalob Scott Woodruff, son of Scott and Jennifer (McGuire) Woodruff, of Davenport, died Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport. A prayer service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 6, 2006 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made towards a fund to be established in Kalob’s name at IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union.
Those left to honor his memory include his parents; his sisters, Katlynn and Clara; his grandparents, Fonda & Michael McGuire, of Moline and Geraldine Woodruff, of Davenport; his aunts, Felicia (Vern) Keeney, Minda (James) Pecoraro, Danielle Woodruff, all of Davenport, and Jessica McGuire, of Milan, Illinois; his uncles, Gary (Doris) Woodruff, of Davenport, Walter (Brenda) Woodruff, of Davenport, Brian (Kristie) Woodruff, of Indiana, Kevin (LeeAnn) Woodruff, of Davenport, Joseph McGuire, of Bettendorf, and Joshua McGuire, of Silvis, Illinois; his great-grandparents, Roy and Jackie McGuire; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Woodruff, Sr.; and his great-grandparents, Rose Stice, and Robert & Myrtle Hines.
