Karen Kay Berger-Haynes, 59, of Davenport, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at her home.
Services for Karen will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Karen Haynes Memorial Fund in care of McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.
Born on September 28, 1953 in Blairstown, IA, Karen was the daughter of Walter and Lydia (Moore) Berger.
Karen worked for the State of Iowa as an investigator in the Department of Inspections and Appeals. She retired in 2008. Karen enjoyed collecting things and was Catholic by faith.
Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Lance Newmarch and Casey (Sarah Francois) Newmarch, both of Clinton; her sister, Karla Scott of Hot Springs, AR and her brother, Richard (Joann) Rabe of Murchinson, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
