Karen E. Weber, 80, of Bettendorf, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at her home.
Per her request, there will be no services or visitation and cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA.)
Karen was born January 14, 1936 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Obed “Bud” & Margaret “Peg” (Jones) Berge. She was united in marriage to Gerald G. “Garry” Weber on April 22, 1959 in Boulder, Colorado. Karen’s passions included cross-stitch, sewing, golf and the Minnesota Vikings.
Those left to honor Karen’s memory include her husband, Garry; her sons, Tom Weber of Bettendorf, Paul (Karen) Weber of Aurora, Ohio and Brian (Kim) Weber of West Des Moines, Iowa; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Karen was preceded in death by her sister, Abigail.
