Karen L. Williams

Karen L. Williams, 59, of Bettendorf, died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at her home.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
Karen was born October 8, 1948 in Crosby, Minnesota, the daughter of Fred & Pearl (Soggie) Klchosky. She was united in marriage to Bert E. Williams, Sr., on April 22, 1967 in Bettendorf. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2001. Karen enjoyed the outdoors, camping, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Kelly Williams, of Wilton, Iowa; her sons, Bert (Julie) Williams of Bettendorf, and Brad (Elisha) Williams, of Blue Grass, Iowa; eight grandchildren; her sisters, Jacque, Peggy, Patty, Carol and Sue; her brother, Rich; and her life-long friend, Dick Farley, of Bettendorf.
In addition to her husband, Bert; she was preceded in death by her parents.
