Kathleen Sue Steffen

Funeral services for Kathleen Sue Steffen, 68, of Bettendorf, will be 11:00 am on Thursday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will take place at Pinehill Cemetery, Davenport at a later date. Family will greet friends on Thursday from 9:30 am to service time at the funeral home.

Kathleen was born on October 23, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, IA, the daughter of Forrest and Dorothy (Wright) Paul. She married Fred Steffen on September 18, 1982 in Bettendorf. She worked as a bookkeeper for Quad City Die Cast, Moline and American Bank, Davenport, retiring in 2020. She was an avid Iowa and Iowa State fan. She enjoyed walks with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Fred, of Bettendorf, son, Michael (Haley) Steffen of Cedar Rapids, grandchildren, Benjamin and Maxwell Steffen of Cedar Rapids, sisters, Karen (Dan) Mizner of Moline, Jean (Paul) Bailey of Davenport, brothers, David (Deb) Paul of Iowa City, Kenny Paul of Tipton, Bob (Rhonda) Paul of Tipton, Alan (Jill) Paul of Ankeny and Richard (Laura) Paul of Peoria, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents
