Kathy Ann Koehn, 58, of Princeton, IA, died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Chambers Funeral Home in Eldridge. Burial will be at the McCausland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Friday. Memorials may be made to the Kathy Koehn Memorial Fund.
Born on October 4, 1955 in Davenport, Kathy was the daughter of Charles and Lois (Isenberg) Shreves.
Kathy worked at the Rock Island Arsenal starting in 1975 but later stayed home and cared for her children. She enjoyed reading and was a writer. Kathy was a “treasure hunter” and an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Sarah Koehn and Amy (Eric) Koehn-Hogenson, both of Bettendorf and Buzz (Erin) Koehn of McCausland; grandchildren, Charlie, Alex, Willow, Summer, Addy and Griffin; her mother, Lois Shreves of McCausland; fiancé, Allen Poggenpohl of Hills, IA; and brother, George Shreves of McCausland.
She was preceded in death by her father and brothers, Joe and Doc Shreves.
