Kathy M. West, 60, a resident of Rock Island, Illinois died on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Trinity Rock Island.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Christian Center Church, 2103 W. 3 rd St. in Davenport, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the family. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was born in Rockford, Illinois on July 7, 1953, the daughter of James & Carletta (Wages) West.
Kathy was formerly employed as the Activity Director at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center of Davenport.
She enjoyed collecting elephant figurines, watching the Green Bay Packers and most of all, spending time with her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Rachel Edwards of Davenport, Iowa, Heather (Travis) Edwards of Alpha, Illinois and Lorie Richards of Davenport; her son Justin (Misty) Edwards of Davenport; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her sister, Sheila (Raymond) Lulich of Colona, Illinois.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter, Haley Joe.
