Kayzon Cortez Trice, 5 year-old son of Cayontaye C. & Amy K. (Crimmins) Trice of Bettendorf, Iowa passed away at his home on Sunday, September 13, 2009.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Gospel Mission Temple, 5074 N. Pine St. in Davenport, Iowa. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the family. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home of Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born November 19, 2003 in Davenport and had just began school as a kindergartner at Neil Armstrong Elementary School in Bettendorf.
Kayzon was an active little boy who could melt your heart with his wonderful smile. He was always on the move and loved to play in his yard & in the park. The television cartoon, “Ben 10” was a favorite of Kayzon and whenever it was on, you knew he would be watching.
Those left to honor his memory include his parents, Cayontaye & Amy Trice; his sisters, Kataleena of Bettendorf, Avionnce of Rock Island, Illinois and Vanessa of Milan, Illinois; his brothers, Darren of Bettendorf, Tamir of Davenport, Devin of Milan and Cayontaye of Milan; his grandparents, Sharon & Larry Crimmins of Bettendorf and Curtis & Coreen Mitchell of Davenport; his great-grandmother, Muriel Roggensack of Rockford, Illinois; his aunts, Tracy Crimmins & her fiancé, Richard Willer of Urbandale, Iowa, Cortress (Christopher) Brown of Davenport and Chenell Mitchell of Davenport; and many other relatives & wonderful friends.
