Kenneth M. “Mike” Fullmer, 66, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Monday, February 17, 2014 at his home.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2014 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to the family.
Mike was born July 3, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of John L. & Virginia A. (McCauley) Fullmer. He was united in marriage to Dorothy L. Rummerfield on February 11, 1967 in LeClaire, Iowa.
Mike was retired from Caterpillar and from PSI where he had been a millwright.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Dorothy; his daughters and sons-in-law, Tracy & Sean McGuire of Greer, South Carolina, Christine & Darren Smiley of LeClaire and Kim & Luis Escabi of Olathe, Kansas; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren with two on the way; and his siblings, Ellen & Gary Council of Bettendorf, Theresa Alvarez of Pekin, Illinois, John Fullmer Jr. of Moline, Illinois, Daniel & Barb Fullmer of LeClaire, Bill & Ginny Fullmer of LeClaire, Richard & Rosanna Fullmer of LeClaire, Robert & Linda Fullmer of LeClaire, Russell & Christine Fullmer of LeClaire, Wilford Fullmer of LeClaire and Jefferey & Lisa Fullmer of Princeton, Iowa.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and by his sister, Mary Stock.
