Kenneth C. Wright

Kenneth C. Wright, 86, a resident of Bryant, Iowa died Thursday, November 13, 2003 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 17, 2003 at Cedar Memorial Christian Church, Davenport where he was a member. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to Cedar Memorial Christian Church.
He was born February 24, 1917 in Chariton, Iowa, the son of Clarence & Myrtle (Stuart) Wright.
Ken was employed as a chipper & grinder at Sivyer Steel Co. in Bettendorf, retiring in 1976 after 31 years of service.
He was an accomplished mechanic and handyman. There was virtually nothing he couldn’t repair or build and when he set his mind to doing something, it got done.
Those left to honor his memory include his brothers & sisters-in-law, Gary & Marilyn Wright of Walcott, Iowa, Walter & Irene Wright of Statesville, North Carolina and Bernard & Evelyn Wright of Newburg, Indiana; his cousin, Louise Lee of Chariton, Iowa; and several nieces & nephews.
