Kyla Cosper

Kyla Cosper, 59, of Davenport passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, Illinois.

Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Kyla was born on December 22, 1963 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Charles and Mary Jo (Holmes) Grapengeter.  On April 20, 1981, she was united in marriage to Michael Cosper.  Kyla was a graduate of AIC and worked in computer technology.  She and her husband also enjoyed bartending together.

Those left to honor her memory are her daughters, Jacquelyn (Darius Holmes) Cosper, Mikaela Cosper, and Stacie Cosper, all of Davenport; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren plus one on the way; and her sister, Melissa Fox.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael; and a sister, Collette.
