Kyle M. Schoenfelder was born on November 8, 1968, in Davenport, Iowa and passed away on September 3, 2024, in his hometown of Bettendorf where he spent his life. A simple man at heart, Kyle cherished the moments spent with family and friends, often enjoying a Coors Light while sharing laughter and stories.

Kyle was a dedicated coach and mentor in youth sports, impacting the lives of countless young athletes with his competitive spirit and positive attitude. His love for competition was evident in everything he did, particularly in his passion for football, wrestling and baseball. He was a proud supporter of the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Bettendorf Bulldogs, celebrating their victories as if they were his own. Kyle was an avid runner who we miss seeing running along Devils Glen.

Kyle was known for his unwavering support for his family, his friends and the young athletes he guided. He will be remembered not only for his achievements, but also for the joy he brought to those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; their three sons, Mac, Tucker and Rocky; his brothers, Steve (Kathy) Schoenfelder and Brad Schoenfelder; his sister, Krista (Kevin) Mead; twenty-two nieces and nephews; four great-nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, “Hank.” They will carry forward his legacy of sportsmanship and mentorship.

Kyle was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll “Mike” and Linda Schoenfelder.
