Lee E. Catlin, 65, of Bettendorf, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in Dixon, Illinois.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family for his grandchildren’s educations.
Lee was born February 14, 1948 in Canton, Ohio, the son of Walter L. & Doris L. (Burrier) Catlin. He moved to Davenport, Iowa as a child and attended St. Ambrose University in Davenport, majoring in education.
He taught for over thirty-five years at Woodrow Wilson Junior High School in Moline, Illinois.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughters, Lisa Crosley of Davenport, her husband, Andrew and two grandchildren, Kyle & Kelsey Marxen and Dr. Sheri Catlin Holland of Moline, her husband, Matthew and three grandchildren.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents.
