LeeAudry Ludin, 71, a resident of Davenport, Iowa died on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel in Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
She was born October 8, 1938 in Opelousas, Louisiana, the daughter of Leo T. & Edith (Thibodeaux) Spire. On February 1, 1955, she was united in marriage to Raymond E. Ludin in Rock Island, Illinois.
Lee was employed as a van driver for Great River Bend Transportation and in earlier years, had worked at John Deere Harvester in Moline, Illinois.
Among the things she enjoyed were cooking, traveling, camping and being with her beloved family.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Raymond; her daughters, Jody Jackson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Karen (Gordon) Farnum of Bettendorf, Janine Logsdon, Sheryl Odell and Shawn Russell, all of Davenport; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; her sister, Carol Fields of Oak Park, Illinois; and her brother, Leo Spire of Houston, Texas.
Preceding her in death were her son, Greg Ludin, her granddaughter, Mellissa Farnum, her great-grandson, Alexander Logsdon and her brother, Jimmy Spire.
