Leonard Martin

Leonard L. Martin, 57, of Houston and formerly of McCausland, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 in Houston.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday April 22, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Chambers Funeral Home in Eldridge, Iowa. Contributions in his memory may be made to the family.
Leonard was born August 24, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Phillip and Wanda (Squires) Martin.
Leonard was a gunsmith and worked at Academy Sports in Houston and Gander Mountain in Davenport. Leonard enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a member of the McCausland Volunteer Fire Department for several years.
Those left to honor his memory include his daughters, Marilyn (Joe) Carter of Princeton, Iowa and Julie Clark of Houston, Texas; his son, Bobby (Hannah) Martin of Kansas City, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and his brother, Charles (Sandy) Martin of Kentucky.
Leonard was preceded in death by his parents.
