Lillian Sneed

Lillian Gertrude Sneed, 79, of North Liberty, IA, formerly of LeClaire, passed away of natural causes on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at her home.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery in Davenport. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23 rd at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Lillian was born on January 30, 1933 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Roy and Lillie (Andersen) Underholt. On October 1, 1951 in Rock Island, she married Orville Edward Sneed.
Lillian was a finish operator at United Technologies Automotive in Iowa City for 15 years, retiring in 1992. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband Orville Sneed; three sons, Jerry (Kathy) Sneed of Colfax, David (Beth) Sneed of Davenport and Robert Sneed of Iowa City; one daughter, Debra Bicket of Cedar Rapids; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Talbot of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
