Linda Bettis

Linda K. Bettis, 68, of LeClaire, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 31, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Bettendorf where she was a member.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf.  Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to Gilda’s Club of the Quad-Cities.

Linda was born September 3, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of John & Geraldine (Kane) Endresak.  She was united in marriage to Richard L. Bettis on May 13, 1967 in Bettendorf.

Linda was retired in cosmetology.  She was very active with her church and was involved with the Ladies Ministry Group.  Among her interests were camping, fishing, sewing and crafting.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Richard; her daughters, Yvette Bettis of Davenport and Kimberly (Thomas) Schmidt of LeClaire; her grandchildren, Andrew McKay, Douglas Shearer, Mikaela Schmidt, David Schmidt and Ahren Schmidt; her great-granddaughter, Aurora; her sister, Jonette (Norm) Appleton of Bettendorf; and her parents, John & Jerry Endresak of Bettendorf.

Linda was preceded in death by her brother, John Endresak Jr.
