Linda Briggs

Linda L. Briggs, 62, a resident of Donahue, Iowa died on Monday, March 9, 2020 at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Private family services will be held.  Memorials may be made to the family.

She was born in Davenport, Iowa on April 16, 1957, the daughter of Donald and June (Burmeister) Claypool Sr.

Linda was employed as an assembler at the Jacobsen Warehouse in Mt. Joy, Iowa and also made beautiful jewelry in her home.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Christine Bunting of Davenport; three grandchildren; her mother, June Claypool of Donahue; her sisters, Mary Claypool of Donahue, Kathy Smiley of Davenport, Iowa and Sue Lund of Davenport; and her brothers, Donald Claypool Jr. of Dixon, Iowa, Thomas Claypool of Muscatine, Iowa and John Claypool of Stockton, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her father, one sister and one brother.
