Linda Jean (Malone) Franklin, 60, a resident of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
A visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to the family.
Born on October 7, 1954, Linda was the daughter of Frank Thomas, Sr. and Anna Mae (Hope) Malone.
Linda worked as a correctional officer at the Work Release Center in Davenport. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Steven Thomas Malone, Bradley Scott (Crystal) Franklin and Christopher Michael Franklin, all of Davenport; her daughter, Sara Lynn Franklin of Buffalo; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Angela Novick of Cedar Falls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Michelle; and two brothers, Frank and Gary Malone.
