Linda Ketelsen

Linda Irene Ketelsen, 66, of Pleasant Valley, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 in Bettendorf with her sons by her side.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2014 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9th at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Linda Ketelsen Memorial Fund.
Linda was born on November 3, 1947 in Oskaloosa, IA, the daughter of Donavan Leo and Irene W. (Boles) Dugger. On August 20, 1966 in Davenport, she married Gerald Dale Ketelsen. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2013.
Linda retired from Sam’s Club in Davenport after 24 years of service where she was in charge of membership sales. She also worked for 23 years as a Mary Kay Cosmetic consultant. Linda always had a positive outlook on life which made an impact on everyone she met. Linda enjoyed gardening and cherished her time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her two sons, Scott Russell (Lisa) Ketelsen of Tacoma, WA and Randall Lee Ketelsen of Pleasant Valley; three grandchildren, Brandon, Devin and Draconna; and one great-grandson, Evan;
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three half-brothers, Denny, Frank and Duane.
