Linda Joyce Leiby, 67, a resident of LeClaire, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes, Thursday, May 5, 2016 at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Our Lady of the River Catholic Church in LeClaire. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9th at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Memorials may be made to the family.
Born on April 4, 1949, Linda was the daughter of Rodney and Marianne (McCully) Rosewall. On July 11, 1970 in Henry, Illinois, she married Ronald Leiby.
She attended Illinois Central College in East Peoria. Linda worked for the Mississippi Valley Welcome Center in LeClaire as the manager of the gift store for 20 years. She was also the owner of a handmade crafting business called Country Lovin’. Linda enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking, entertaining, making various crafts, collecting antiques and shopping resale. She cherished her time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Ronald; children, Kimberly (Jesse) Radcliff of LeClaire, Daniel (Robyn) Leiby of Bettendorf and Lisa (Brad) Linville of Davenport; grandchildren, Cadence, Makenna, Tristan, Addison, Ellie, Harper and Claire; a brother, Michael (Cheryl) Rosewall of Florida; an aunt, Joyce Cullen of Illinois; and an uncle, Tom Rosewall of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jack.
