Linda S. Sutton, 62, a resident of Eldridge, Iowa died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Chambers Funeral Home in Eldridge. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Linda was born January 11, 1949 in Coxton, Kentucky, the daughter of Willie & Pearl (Benjey) Bennett.
She was united in marriage to Robert H. Sutton Sr. on May 19, 2005 in Davenport, Iowa.
Linda enjoyed working with computers, camping when it didn’t rain and spending time with her family.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Robert; her daughter, Rebecca (James) Boustead of Englewood, Colorado; her son, Robert Harris of Freeport, Illinois; her step-daughter, Tricia Vargas of East Moline, Illinois; her step-sons, Robert Sutton Jr. of Coal Valley, Illinois and Dewayne (Antipac) Sutton of Coal Valley; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sisters, Kathy Austin of New York and Doris Thacker of Arkansas; and her brothers, Robert Bennett of Georgia, Ron Bennett of Phoenix, Arizona, Roger Bennett of Phoenix and Larry Bennett of Rockford, Illinois.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Dylan Boustead; her granddaughter, Alyssa Boustead; her step-granddaughter, Amber Sutton; her brothers, Ray, Mike & Bill Bennett; and her sisters, Vicki Ketchum and Jewell Sanders.
