Linda G. Huffman

Linda G. Huffman, 55, of Bettendorf, died Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 28, 2010 at Bettendorf Christian Church. A memorial gathering will be held from 12:00 P.M. until the time of the services Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to the family.
Linda was born August 28, 1954 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald P. & Natalie (Miller) Proffitt. On April 1, 1989, she was united in marriage to Rodney J. Huffman in Bettendorf.
Linda had been employed as a Caregiver for the State of Iowa for several years. She enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Rodney; her sons, Gerrod (Mandi) Andresen of Aledo, Illinois and Jamie Andresen of Bettendorf; her grandchildren, Timothy, Olivia, Natalie and Spencer Andresen; her parents, Ronald & Natalie of Bettendorf; her sister, Alicia (Keith) Seligman of Bettendorf; her brothers, Ronald ‘Carl’ Proffitt of Bettendorf, Larry Proffitt of Bettendorf, and Robert ‘Doug’ (Sharon) Proffitt of Rock Island; several nieces and nephews; her cousins Janie & Jill; several sisters and brothers-in-law; her special friend, Gayley; and her best friend for forty years, Lynn Jones.
