Lisa F. Petty, 47, a resident of Eldridge, Iowa died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa after a life-long battle with Marfan syndrome.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Thursday. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the family.
Lisa was born June 1, 1965 in Iowa City the daughter of Wilbur and Glada (Shadrick) Petty. She graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 1983.
She was a member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club, Davenport, Iowa Chapter. She enjoyed shopping, camping, riding motorcycles and loved spending time with her family.
Those left to honor her memory include her son, Lucas (Amanda) Petty, Parkview, Iowa; her granddaughter, Braelyn Petty; her mother, Glada Petty, Princeton, Iowa; her sisters, Vicki Woods and friend, Mel Kyseth, Bettendorf, Iowa and Cheryl (Bob) Docherty, Viola, Illinois; her brothers, Kevin (Kathy) Petty, Princeton, Jeff (Denise) Petty, Princeton and Jr. (Linda) Petty, Bettendorf; her friend, Marek Kuberski, Eldridge and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur in 2009 and her fiancé, Charles Muhs in 2008.
