Lola Baldwin

Lola M. Baldwin, 84, of Davenport, died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Center in Davenport.
Her funeral service will held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2017 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will be on Tuesday at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
Lola was born April 10, 1933 in Palmyra, Missouri, the daughter of Russell & Helen (Adams) Ellis. She was united in marriage to Delno D. Baldwin on November 15, 1952 in Davenport.
She enjoyed crafts, cross-stitching and angel figurines. She also enjoyed going to CASI events, her friends there, her family and her dog, Angel.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Delno; her daughters, Carol (Ed) Straw of Chenoa, Illinois, Cheryl (Olin) Meador of Buffalo and Teresa (John) Bald of Blue Grass; her sons, Jerry (Missy) Baldwin of Davenport and Kevin Baldwin of Davenport; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; her step-mother, Marilyn Williams of Bettendorf; a special cousin, Anna Mae Claggett of Philadelphia, Missouri; and her aunt, Dorothy Ellis of Bettendorf.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a half-sister, Norma Allen.
