Lola Graham

Lola Mae Graham, 81, of Davenport, died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Lola was born on December 14, 1930 in La Follette, TN, the daughter of James and Mary E. (Willoughby) Sharp. On September 30, 1950 in Campbell Co. Tennessee, she married Willard “Bill” Graham. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1984.

Lola worked for Sears Manufacturing for 13 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Davenport. She enjoyed listening to country music, cooking and dancing. Lola loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Roger Graham and his wife Debbie of Davenport; one grandson, Corey Graham and his wife Keri of Davenport; three great-grandchildren, Annemarie, Dominic and Lucille; and many family and friends.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; one son, Billy Graham; four sisters, Willine, Elizabeth, Claudine and Mary; and two brothers, Carl and James.

Lola will be missed by a loving extended family and all of her friends and staff at St. Mary’s Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Davenport. Her family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary’s and the doctors and nurses in the emergency room at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus in Davenport.
