Louise E. Rose, 71, of Bettendorf, Iowa, died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Friday, November 3, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in East Moline, Illinois, where she was a member. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services Friday at the church. Burial will be held at Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Scott County.
Louise was born September 15, 1946 in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of Raynor & Ethel (Knight) Larson. She was a 1964 graduate of Rock Island High School.
She was united in marriage to Robert E. “Bob” Rose on December 22, 1983 in East Moline, Illinois. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2006.
Louise worked as a secretary in interior design. She enjoyed arts and crafts.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, April Harding of Sterling, Virginia; her son, Bryan (Hyunjoo) Harding of Fayetteville, Georgia; her step-daughter, Colleen (James) Anderson of Homer Glen, Illinois; her step-sons, Michael Rose of Davenport and Kevin (Mary Ann) Rose of Bettendorf; her step- grandchildren, David Rose, Lexie (Anthony) Bribriesco, Kyle Rose, Carleigh Rose, Kelsey Rose, and Jake and Luke Anderson; her step-great-grandchildren, Caliana and Joaquin; her sister, Janet (Larry) Dellinger of Shell Rock, Iowa; her brother, Douglas Larson of Bettendorf; and her daughter-in-law, Sheri Lynn Rose of Marietta, Georgia.
In addition to her husband, Bob, Louise was preceded in death by her step-son, Patrick Rose.
