Louise J. Partington

Louise J. Partington, 74, a resident of Bettendorf died Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus in Davenport.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 5, 2003 at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Genesis Medical Center, West Campus Pulmonary Unit.
She was born April 30, 1929 in Augusta, Illinois, the daughter of Charles & Opal (Meredith) Haskins.
Louise retired from the Housekeeping Department of the former Mercy Hospital in Davenport where she had worked for many years.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughters & sons-in-law, Gail & Roger Sheets of Peoria, Illinois, April & Ben Kaplan of Brookline, New Hampshire and Sally & Donald Smith of Princeton, Iowa; her son & daughter-in-law, Dale & Robyn Thompson of Davenport, Iowa; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Shirley Green of Muscatine, Iowa; her brother, Glen Haskins; and her special aunts, Edith Young of Augusta, Illinois and Ruby Brown of East Moline, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a great-grandson; her sister, Katherine Dismer; and her brother, Harold Haskins.
