Lynn Alfred Claussen

Private family services for Lynn Alfred Claussen, 71, of Donahue, will be held on Friday, February 16^th, at Chambers Funeral Home, Eldridge. Lynn passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Genesis Medical Center, Davenport. 

Lynn was born on August 18, 1952, in Davenport, the son of Harvey and Nelda (Zabel) Claussen.  He married Judy Havill on December 8, 1978, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport. Lynn worked at Liqui-Grow, Eldridge, for 30 years, retiring in 2017. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a die-hard Iowa Hawkeyes football fan. 

He is survived by his wife, Judy, of Donahue, daughters, Erin Claussen of Eldridge, Lori (Jimmy) Christensen of McCausland, grandchildren, Haeley (Josh Banks) Claussen of Moline, IL, Taeler (Cameron Trimble) Claussen of Walcott, Jameson Christensen of McCausland, Kyleigh Christensen of McCausland and a sister, Sharon (Denny) Colby of DeKalb, IL. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to the Donahue Fire Department.

There will be an open house at the famous Claussen Garage on Friday, February 16^th, starting at 1 p.m. for family and friends.
