Margaret Anderson

Margaret L. Anderson, 81, a resident of Princeton, Iowa died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Riverview Manor Nursing Home, Pleasant Valley, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Princeton Presbyterian Church, Princeton.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service Friday at the church.  A graveside committal will be held following the service at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Princeton.  Memorials may be made to Princeton Presbyterian Church.  McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Margaret was born February 1, 1932 in LeClaire, Iowa the daughter of Raymond V. and Gladys F. (Elliott) Hamilton.  She was united in marriage to Harold B. Anderson in Argo, Iowa on April 16, 1952,

Margaret was a loving wife and mother of six.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Harold; her son, Paul (Marijo) Anderson, Solon, Iowa; her daughters, Susie (Rocky) Shipman, Winterset, Iowa, Lorene (Kip) Caldwell, Des Moines, Iowa, Karen Soenksen, Princeton, Krista (David) Link, Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Amy (Scott) Andersen, North Liberty, Iowa; her grandchildren, Troy, Brandon, Kirsten, Katelyn, Abigail, Olivia, Catlin, Emily, Ben, Grace, Jonathon, Nick, Alex and Bailey; her great-granddaughter, Alexis; her brother, James (Carolyn) Hamilton, Princeton; her brothers-in-law, Alvin (Marjory) Anderson and Miles Wallingford and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son-in-law, Paul Soenksen and several other in-laws.
