Margaret Garver

Margaret M. Garver, 79, died on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at her residence in Davenport, Iowa. Funeral services will be private. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf is assisting the family with arrangements. Margaret was born July 18, 1924 in Beardstown, IL, the daughter of Arthur and Lala (Collier) Garver. She was employed as a seamstress in Rock Island, IL for several years. Additionally, she was in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, working in communications. Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Lorita Davis, Rock Island; her grandchildren, Mary Jane & Selena; her half-sister, Charlene Eaton, Ottumwa, IA; and her aunt, Marge Collier, Davenport.
