Margaret M. "Margie" Hanna

Margaret M. “Margie” Hanna, 40, a resident of Davenport, Iowa, went to be with her family in heaven on Thursday September 27, 2007 at the Clarissia C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, October 1, 2007 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. As per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following the funeral. Memorials may be made to Genesis V.N.A. Hospice or the Clarissia C. Cook Hospice House.
Margie was born February 17, 1967 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of James P. and Dorothy (Strong) Hanna. She attended Central High School in Davenport followed by cosmetology school.
She was a lover of all animals. She enjoyed bird watching, shopping, walking, music and collecting Native American memorabilia. She also loved her dogs and cats.
Those left to honor her memory include her mother, Dorothy; her sisters Sandy (Myron) Linder of Ellensburg, WA and Debbie (Tim) Wingate of Davenport; her brother, Mike (Char) Hanna of LeClaire, Iowa; her longtime companion, Billy Sheffey of Davenport; her nieces, Lindsay, Heather, Megan, and Bailey and her nephews, Joshua, Shawn, Preston, and Ryan
She was preceded in death by her father, James; her brothers, Pat and Basil; and her sister, Barbara Sue.
