She had a boisterous personality and loved a good hearty laugh, which will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She was a fine example of how to live a simple life.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter Wendy Bloomingdale and her husband, Randy, of LeClaire; her son Matthew Asmus, and his wife, Lisa, of Dubuque, Iowa; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sisters, Phyllis McDermott and her husband, Bud, of Clinton, Iowa, Carol Power, and her husband, Jack, of Davenport; her brother, Richard Gugelmeyer, of Kansas; numerous nieces and nephews; and loving friends.
In addition to her husband, Virgil, she was preceded in death by her parents.
