Marjorie E. Tielbur

Marjorie E. Tielbur, 73, of Davenport, died Sunday, June 6, 2010 at her residence. There will be no services or visitation. Per her request, her body was donated to the University of Iowa for anatomical research.
Marjorie was born June 1, 1937, in Spell Rock, Iowa, the daughter of Clifford W. & Lucille (Davis) Karr. On May 6, 1961, she was united in marriage to Hieko Tielbur, Jr. in Minnesota. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2001.
She had retired from the former Mar-J’s in Davenport as a Sales Associate. Marjorie loved to crochet and bake cookies for her friends and relatives.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter and son-in-law, Laura & Omero Tristan of East Moline, Illinois, her grandchildren, Jenille Vasquez, Marguarita Vasquez and Jose Vasquez; her sisters, Betty (Merle) Crossett of Kalona, Iowa and Janice Davis of Kentucky; her brother, Bill Karr, of Wellman, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; and special friends at Edgewater on Third.
In addition to her husband, Hieko, she was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Phyllis Young.
