Mark Allen Wilson, 55, a resident of LeClaire, Iowa died Friday, March 23, 2012 in Weslaco, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, LeClaire. Memorials may be made to the family.
Mark was born June 5, 1956 in Council Bluffs, Iowa the son of Lloyd and Mavis R. (Opsahl) Wilson. In 1969 the family moved to the LeClaire area. Mark graduated from the Pleasant Valley High School in 1974.
Mark worked as a welder, plasterer and spent several years in Minnesota working in the Christmas tree business.
In his spare time Mark enjoyed playing computer games and going for walks.
Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Mavis Wilson, LeClaire; his sister, Pat (Dennis) Kerneen, Council Bluffs; his brothers, Steve (Karla) Wilson, LeClaire, Craig (Carla) Wilson, Chandler, Arizona, Kirk (Sherri) Wilson, Owens Crossroads, Alabama and Bruce Wilson, LeClaire; eight nieces and nephews and 13 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd and his nephew, Jeffery.
