Mary Ann “Connie” Fisher, a resident of Bettendorf and formerly of Wisconsin, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Bettendorf Healthcare Center.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 11, 2010 at St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery in Hartford, Wisconsin. Memorials may be made to the family.
Connie was born August 14, 1927 in West Bend, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph & Mary (Hawig) Konopik.
A devoted homemaker, she was a local celebrity when she hosted a television program in Milwaukee in her earlier years. She enjoyed traveling and entertaining and volunteering in her spare time.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Nancy (Steven) Rosetti of Decatur, Georgia; her son, William (Maureen) Fisher of Elmhurst, Illinois; her grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Eve, Audrey, Isaac and Liam; and her sisters, Rose “Penny” Bowman of Wisconsin and Eleanor Meier of Texas.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Laurie.
