Mary M. Ramirez, 60, of LeClaire, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m on Tuesday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home in Bettendorf. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home. The family requests that those attending wear a mask and observe social distancing. Burial will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Mary was born on November 4, 1960 in Davenport, the daughter of John and Barbara (Isham) Miller. On April 16, 1977, she was united in marriage to Paul Ramirez in Bettendorf. Mary was a dedicated wife and mother. She worked as a groundskeeper at Duck Creek Golf Course off and on for 14 years. She enjoyed music, knitting, crocheting, gardening, floral arranging, and also bowling. Mary was a warm and inviting person, and was loved by all who met her.
Those left to honor her memory are her children, Paul (Allison) Ramirez of Corpus Christi, Texas, Antonio (Jasmine) Ramirez of LeClaire, Alisha (Tim) Lovell of LeClaire; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Ronald (Olga) Miller, Allison Johnson, and Judy McGill, all of Davenport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Welch; husband, Paul; siblings, Creighton Miller, John Miller, Kimbra Miller, and Penny Wyatt; nephew, Danny Allen Ramirez; grandparents, Mae Volquardson and Harlan Holtz; and her loving dog, Charlie.
