Mary Ann Ebberson

Mary Ann Ebberson, 64, of Davenport, died Sunday, August 8, 2004 at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport. Gravesite services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, August, 12, 2004 at the Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, Illinois. Those wishing to attend the service should meet at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf at 12:30 P.M. on Thursday. Memorials may be made to the family.
Mary Ann was born on December 17, 1939 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Averill & Olive (Campbell) West. She was united in marriage to Merle W. Ebberson on December 20, 1971 in Rock Island, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 22, 1998.
Mary Ann was primarily a homemaker and had worked in an electronics manufacturing company in Davenport, retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Eagles’ Women’s Auxiliary and had enjoyed fishing, camping, and bingo. She enjoyed doing things for other people and making them happy.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Sara McDaniel, Davenport; her son and daughter-in-law, Darryl & Betty Epperson, El Tejon, California; her granddaughters, Heather Fisher & her husband, Michael, and Missy Anderson, all of Davenport; her grandchildren, Samantha & Ashley Ebberson, Joshua Fisher, and Alex Anderson; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Wendy & Dan Kozma, Davenport, and Karen & Ron Genco, Andrew, IA; her brothers & sisters-in-law, Dennis & Roxanne West, and Wendall & Joanie West, all of Fort Dodge, Iowa.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, & three brothers.
