Mary Roselyn French, 54, a resident of Burnsville, Minnesota and formerly of Davenport, Iowa died Monday, February 7, 2005 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minnesota.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, February 11, 2005 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf, Iowa. Inurnment will be in Overman Cemetery, Atalissa, Iowa. Friends may greet the family from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
She was born August 30, 1950 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Henry David & Ora Belle (Sullivan) Walker. She was united in marriage to Fred Allman and was later united in marriage to Michael French in Muscatine in 1972.
Mary was employed as a Dietician’s Aide at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Davenport.
She enjoyed playing bingo, watching NASCAR and football on television and spending time with her many friends.
Those left to honor her memory include her daughter, Michelle Stegner of Davenport; her granddaughter, Brieanna French; and her companion, Larry
Weathers of Burnsville.
Mary was preceded in death by her grandson, Darius French; her sisters, Cheryl Blocker and Geraldine Darnell; and by her parents.
