Matilda M. Burnett

Matilda M. “Tillie” Burnett, 34, a resident of Bettendorf, Iowa died on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus in Davenport, Iowa from natural causes.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Chapel, Bettendorf. Private burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill or Frontier Community Support of Davenport.
She was born November 11, 1972 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Floyd Wayne & Helen C.C. (Hinkley) Burnett.
Tillie was employed at the Rummage Closet in Davenport.
She loved her cats, especially “Bones Marie.” In addition, she enjoyed knitting, cross-stitch and fishing.
Those left to honor her memory include her cousins, Paula Haas of Logansville, Georgia, Jeff Hinkley of Logansville, Steve (Miriam) Orr of Wapello, Iowa, Larry (Cathy) Orr of Nichols, Iowa, Diane (Frank) Kelly of Muscatine, Iowa, Cheryl (Dennis) Chick of Muscatine and Barb Orr of Muscatine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her Aunt Annette and her Uncle Walt.
